At Campus Living Villages, we also encourage our residents to play their part with our behaviour change campaigns – recycling and reducing energy consumption whenever they can.

We did say that we’d finished talking about our charity partners, but after supporting the Salvation Army for many years, we’ve been able to make the most of our “Donate, Don’t Dump” campaign too, whereby our village staff encourage residents to donate their unwanted belongings before they move out.

Not only does this help to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill, but in success stories such as our McMillan team’s, 10 tonnes of textiles were either resold or distributed over a 12-month period, equal to £2,000 in monetary value or 200 beds provided to the homeless.
