Pride is a celebration of life, love and liberty as well as enjoying the parades and parties. It’s a chance for the community to come together and belonging to that community. It might be fun to visit one this summer and get a feel for yourself.

Birmingham Pride, 26th and 27th May

This Pride event is based in the city centre and attracts more than 75,000 people, it’s been taking place for more than 20 years. The event raises money for the local community; this year will be bigger than ever as HSBC are confirmed as the main sponsors for the event. There have been rumours that there will be performances from Rudimental, Beth Ditto, Stefflon Don and Jax Jones. (Look out for who is performing!)
