Student finance

Throughout your time at university

Simply helping to prepare you to manage your money will never be enough, as potential issues could occur at any time. That’s why we keep reiterating and refreshing our support system while you are at university, so you are – wherever possible – never taken by surprise. Check out our crib sheet to see the structure of our money meetings to support you, should you face financial struggles during university.

When you need help

For one reason or another, you might still end up in financial difficulty and taking a proactive approach to money management advice might be forgotten with other factors affecting your life. For this reason, we will always provide any additional care we can, if you find yourself struggling.

If you are struggling, speaking to your village team can really help. Talking it through with someone else might help you realise how you could manage your money or where you could cut back to help make payments to your debt.

Alternatively, you can reach out to your university for some useful information. You can find more information about your university’s wellbeing support in our Village Guide.
