John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts is proud to be the University of Salford’s only affiliated accommodation partner.
The village is conveniently located with the Frederick Road campus on your doorstep and the main Peel Park campus and it’s facilities just a 15 minute walk away.
There’s a host of different room types to choose from at a range of prices. We have flats that are specifically suited to first-year students, and others which are more popular with returning students and post-graduates who are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. The village is particularly popular with nursing and healthcare students with it being only a short walk from the Mary Seacole building on the Frederick Road campus, and also thanks to the easily accessible transport links and close proximity to both Salford Royal Hospital and the city centre Manchester hospitals.
On-site you’ll have access to common rooms, a communal kitchen, quiet study spaces, as well as laundry facilities and a free on-site gym which is exclusively for the use of John Lester and Eddie Colman residents. Over at the main Peel Park campus, you’ll find the university Clifford Whitworth library, University Support Services, Sports centre, student store and the lively Student Union bar Atmosphere.
The village is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Salford Shopping Centre with its supermarkets, retail shops and eateries and getting around Salford and into Manchester couldn’t be easier. There are regular and direct buses, or you can walk into the city’s centre in 30 minutes. University of Salford students studying at MediaCityUK (Salford Quays) can take advantage of free travel on the dedicated bus service which runs past the village, straight down to MediaCityUK.

Bronze Rooms are great value for money and come with everything you need, including a single bed, study desk and chair and wardrobe. You'll share a bathroom and kitchen with your flatmates in either a three or four-bed flat.
Bronze Accessible

If you're looking for a comfortable, spacious room that caters to your additional requirements, we've got just the thing. Complete with a comfy single bed, shared accessible bathroom, a nice amount of floor space and disabled access around the flat. Get to know your flatmates in your shared kitchen and lounge.
Silver

With a Silver room you’ll have all the standard features of the Bronze Rooms however this option comes with refreshed interior, including more modern furniture. Silver rooms are available in either three or four-bed flats with a shared bathroom and kitchen.
Silver + Lounge
£133.00pw
Silver + Lounge Rooms include three bedrooms and your room will have the same great features as the Bronze Rooms. There will also be an additional shared room with a seating area for you to relax in with your housemates.

Gold

Gold Rooms have all the great facilities of a Silver Room but come with an upgrade to a small double bed instead of a single. Gold rooms are available in either three or four-bed flats with a shared bathroom and kitchen.
Platinum

If you are looking for more space and a larger bed, this option is for you. Platinum Rooms have more floor space and include a full double bed. These rooms are only available in two bed flats, so you will share a bathroom and a kitchen with just one other flatmate.
