Group Bookings £50 Voucher Terms and Conditions 2020/21

If you book as a group of 5 or more together in a single flat with Campus Living Villages for the 2020/21 academic year you may be eligible to receive a £50 Love2Shop voucher per person.

1. The Promoter is Campus Living Villages UK Ltd of 7th Floor Digital World Centre, 1 Lowry Place, The Quays, Salford, M50 3VB.
2. Customers, who as a group of 5 or more, book a 2020/21 room with Campus Living Villages within the same flat, between 5 November and 30 November 2019 (inclusive) at Fitzroy and Wenlock Courts – Luton, Belgrave View – Birmingham or Albert Court – Liverpool only (each a “Qualifying Location”) will, subject to these Terms and Conditions and availability, be entitled to a £50 Love2Shop voucher each.
3. This offer is subject to availability on a first come first served basis and will end on 30 November 2019 at 11.59pm (“the Closing Date”) or until Campus Living Villages confirms the offer is no longer available (whichever is the earlier).
4. To be eligible, customers must book as a group of 5 or more together in a single flat at one of the Qualifying Locations for a minimum period of 39 weeks by the Closing Date by contacting Campus Living Villages’ Customer Contact Village on +44 (0)161 850 6664, or by going to a Campus Living Villages’ reception and making the booking with Campus Living Villages staff. Customers will then only be eligible for a voucher (subject to availability) after the entire group members’ individual bookings have all been contracted, an active deposit held on each booking, and any cancellation periods have all elapsed without the bookings in question being cancelled. Customers must mention the offer at the point of booking before the booking process starts. The offer cannot be applied retrospectively. Customers who book as a group with a university, agent or third party may not be eligible for this offer.
5. A Campus Living Villages customer service advisor will contact all members of the group to discuss availability, requirements, and take any necessary details. Each group member’s individual booking will then be processed and individual agreements will be sent to each group member. These must all be signed and returned to Campus Living Villages within 7 days together with the requisite deposit.
6. Only one group booking offer can be claimed per customer.
7. This offer is available to existing and new customers however, existing customers who are in arrears or who are otherwise in breach of their 2019/2020 tenancy or licence agreements are not eligible to participate in the offer and will disqualify any group booking of which they form part.
8. The voucher will be dispatched to you by email by 31 January 2020.
9. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or associated companies or any of their respective employees will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the participant in the offer or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up this offer except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or associated companies or that of their respective employees.
10. The Promoter will only process personal information of any participant in the offer as set out in Campus Living Villages’ Privacy Policy.

12. Subsequent amendments to bookings at a later date may mean the right to any voucher offer is lost. Campus Living Villages reserves the right to remove or change this promotional offer at any time.
13. This promotion may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. In particular, participation in this group booking promotion will render any individual ineligible to participate in the refer a friend promotion.
14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.

Should Love2Shop cease trading before the vouchers are distributed, Campus Living Villages reserves the right to substitute the voucher provider.

Campus Living Villages Terms and Conditions £250 Voucher Prize Draw for Studios

1. This prize draw is open to existing customers holding a 2019/20 studio tenancy with Campus Living Villages. The Promoter is Campus Living Villages UK Ltd of 7th Floor Digital World Centre, 1 Lowry Place, The Quays, Salford, M50 3VB.
2. Existing customers who book a 2020/21 studio flat at any of King Edward Studios – Exeter, Prince Consort Village – London, Point Exe – Exeter, Bonhay House – Exeter, McMillan Student Village – London, Dashwood Studios – London only (each a “the Qualifying Location”), will, subject to these Terms and Conditions, be entered into a prize draw to win a prize of £250 in Love2Shop vouchers .
3. The opportunity to participate in the prize draw opens on 5 November 2019 and closes on 30 November 2019 at 11.59pm (“the Closing Date”).
4. To be eligible to be entered into the prize draw, customers must book a studio flat at one of the Qualifying Locations for a minimum period of 39 weeks before the Closing Date by contacting Campus Living Villages’ Customer Contact Village on +44 (0)161 850 6664, or by going to a Campus Living Villages’ receptions and making the booking with Campus Living Villages staff. Customers will then only be entered into the prize draw after their bookings has been contracted, an active deposit held on that booking, and any relevant cancellation period elapsed without the booking in question being cancelled. Customers must mention the fact that they wish to be entered into the prize draw at the point of booking before the booking process starts. The opportunity to participate in the prize draw cannot be applied retrospectively. Customers who book as a group with a university, agent or third party may not be eligible for this offer.
5. A Campus Living Villages customer service advisor will contact the customer to discuss availability, requirements, and take any necessary details. The customer’s booking will then be processed and an agreement will be sent to them for signature. This must signed and returned to Campus Living Villages within 7 days [together with the requisite deposit].
6. There is a limit of one entry into the prize draw per customer.
7. Any existing customers who are in arrears or who are otherwise in breach of their 2019/2020 tenancy or licence agreements are not eligible to participate in the prize draw.
8. The winner of the vouchers will be drawn at random and will be notified as soon as possible by the Promoter using the telephone or email details provided with their booking. The voucher will be dispatched to the winner by email by 31 January 2020.
9. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that a valid prize draw has taken place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will publish the surname and county of the winner on the Campus Living Villages’ website on or before Friday 13 December 2019. If you object to your surname or county being published, please contact the Promoter at the address given in paragraph 1 above. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
10. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or associated companies or any of their respective employees will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or associated companies or that of their respective employees.

Customers, who as a group of 5 or more (or in the case of John Lester & Eddie Colman – Salford where the group number is 4 [or more]), book a 2020/21 room with Campus Living Villages within the same flat, between 5 November and 30 November 2019 at Burley Road – Leeds, Rusholme Place – Manchester, Newport Student Village – Newport, John Lester & Eddie Colman – Salford, Bonington Student Village – Sutton Bonington, Prince Consort Village – London, Bagot Street – Birmingham only (each a “ Qualifying Location”), will, subject to these Terms and Conditions, be entered into a prize draw to win a collective prize of £1000 in Love2Shop vouchers .
3. The opportunity to participate in the prize draw opens on 5 November 2019 and closes on 30 November 2019 at 11.59pm (“the Closing Date”).

Campus Living Villages Terms and Conditions Refer a Friend

1. The Promoter is Campus Living Villages UK Ltd of 7th Floor Digital World Centre, 1 Lowry Place, The Quays, Salford, M50 3VB.
2. Existing customers who refer a friend to live with Campus Living Villages at Fitzroy and Wenlock Courts – Luton, Belgrave View – Birmingham or Albert Court – Liverpool (each a Qualifying Location”) may, subject to these Terms and Conditions and availability, be entitled to a £50 Love2Shop voucher, for each person they have referred, who books a room with Campus Living Villages at a Qualifying Location for the 2020/21 academic year for a minimum period of 39 weeks.
3. This offer, which is subject to availability on a first come first served basis, only applies to new bookings made during the period between 5 November 2019 and 31 December 2019 at 11.59pm (“the Closing Date”) inclusive.
4. The referred student (the individual being recommended) must be a new resident and cannot previously have resided at any Campus Living Villages residence.
5. Customers who book as a group with a university, agent or third party may not be eligible for this offer.
6. To qualify for the £50 Love2Shop voucher, the referred student must make a booking by the Closing Date for the 2020-2021 academic year at one of the Qualifying Location for a minimum period of 39 weeks and at the time of booking the referred student must quote the referrer’s full name. When making the booking online through the Campus Living Villages reservations system, the referrer’s name should be inserted into the ‘promo code’ text box. By making the referral the referrer is giving their consent to this action.
7. The referrer must be a Campus Living Villages resident for the 2019/20 academic year for a minimum booking of 39 weeks and should not be in arrears or otherwise in breach of their existing tenancy or licence agreement. The £50 Love2Shop voucher will be solely for the referrer.
8. To be eligible for the £50 Love2Shop voucher, the referred student’s booking must be confirmed as contracted, an active deposit held on that booking and any relevant cancellation period elapsed without the booking in question being cancelled.
9. Voucher(s) will be dispatched to qualifying referrers by email by 31 January 2020.
10. Any entitlement to a £50 Love2Shop voucher will cease to be due where a booking (which has been made via a referral) is cancelled.
11. If two new customers who contract to share a dual occupancy studio are referred, the referrer will only be awarded the £50 for the first customer.
12. Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your booking with us, you can do so but you may still be liable to pay your rent if you completed your booking and are outside the cooling off period of seven days. You would need to let us know, in writing, as soon as you know you won’t be living with us. The cancellation policy is outlined your tenancy agreement.

Village shop terms and conditions

These terms and conditions shall apply to the customers who access, and wish to purchase goods from, the Village Shop. Please read these terms carefully before ordering any goods.

These are the terms and conditions of Campus Living Villages UK Limited (CLV) of 7th Floor, Digital World Centre, 1 Lowry Plaza, The Quays, Salford, UK, M50 3UB and company number 06604874, which is the company that sells goods via the Village Shop. If you access the Village Shop you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

CLV’s trading address is Digital World Centre, 1 Lowry Plaza, The Quays, Salford, M50 3UB and its VAT number is GB 945 6523 02.

1. Orders

By placing an order through the Village Shop you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. When you submit an order via the Village Shop you will receive confirmation of your order via email (the Confirmation Email). This will give you estimated timescales as to when the goods will be ready to collect from your Village reception. The contract to sell goods to you only relates to those goods listed in the Confirmation Email. Payment for the goods shall be due when you submit your order.

2. Prices

Prices for goods on the Village Shop may vary. All prices are subject to amendment at CLV’s discretion. The price payable for the goods shall be the price shown on the Village Shop at the time you place your order. All prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax which is charged at the appropriate rate.

3. Delivery

All goods will be available for collection from the reception of the Village in which you reside. Delivery will take place when you collect and sign for the goods. Whilst CLV makes every effort to ensure that goods are available for collection on the day we specify within your Confirmation Email, we cannot guarantee availability on that day or accept liability for delays for any reason whatsoever. Orders placed within 5 days of your intended check-in date may not be available when you check in. All orders are subject to stock availability. CLV reserves the right to stop an order at any time if it suspects that the transaction may be fraudulent.

4. Returns and Exchanges

If you change your mind after you’ve placed your order and no longer want something you’ve ordered through the Village Shop before you receive it, or if you are no longer going to be staying in the Village (and your accommodation agreement has been terminated in accordance with the terms of that agreement), please let us know and we will provide you with a full refund. If you change your mind and no longer want an item that you have received, you may return any goods within 14 days of Delivery except where:

  • the goods were sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons and you have unsealed them; or
  • the goods have been inseparably mixed after Delivery.

If your order consists of multiple items and they are Delivered on different days, the cancellation period in respect of your whole order ends on the day 14 days after you collect and sign for the last item.

To return any goods you should:

  • contact CLV by emailing contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk with the email subject ‘Village Shop – Cancel My Order’. You will need to include your name, Village and room number, details of the goods you wish to return and your telephone number and email address within the email. You will then receive an email from CLV confirming receipt of your request; and
  • return the goods to your Village reception where it will be assessed whether or not the item/s are in a fit state for return. Items do not need to be in their original packaging but must be in a sellable condition.

Refunds will be made in full but, where you are returning goods that have been Delivered to you, CLV reserve the right to deduct any amount equal to any diminishment in value of the goods as a result of you handling them beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the items. You will be refunded using the same payment method originally used by you to make the payment. If you cancel your order before the goods are Delivered to you, you will receive a refund no later than 14 days after cancelling your order. If you are returning goods you will be refunded no later than 14 days after you return the goods to your Village in accordance with these terms, and you will receive an email confirming that this refund has been made.

If an item is faulty please contact CLV as soon as possible by emailing contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk with the email subject ‘Village Shop – Faulty Item’. You will need to include your name, Village and room number, details of the goods you consider faulty and of the fault, and whether you would prefer a refund or replacement. CLV will then get in touch with you to arrange an appropriate remedy.

If you have placed an order and you are no longer going to be staying in the Village (and your accommodation agreement has been terminated in accordance with the terms of that agreement) please contact CLV by emailing contact@campuslivingvillages.co.uk with the email subject ‘Village Shop – Goods no longer required’. You will need to include your name, Village and room number.

5. Events outside our control

CLV will not be liable or held responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any of its obligations to you cause by events outside of CLV’s reasonable control (a Force Majeure Event). A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond CLV’s reasonable control including (but not limited to): strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action, civil commotion, war (whether declared or not), terrorist attacks or threats of terrorist attack, fire or natural disaster, impossibility of the use of public or private transport and telecommunications networks, and any laws or restrictions passed by any government.

6. Data

Any personal information provided via the Village Shop will be processed in accordance with CLV’s Privacy Policy. Please make sure that you have read and understood how we safeguard any data you provide in the process of ordering goods from the Village Shop.

7. General

The use of the Village Shop and any contracts formed will be governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes (whether contractual or non-contractual) arising in relation to, out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, including orders for goods. All products are sold on the basis that they are for personal, domestic use only. CLV will make reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any product or pricing information, CLV will incur no liability whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for incidental, special loss or damage, any loss of profit (direct or indirect), loss of sales, loss of data, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of business, third party claims, pure economic loss arising out of or in connection with the performance or non-performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions including such damage as may be reasonably foreseeable at the date you order the goods.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights nor shall they exclude or restrict CLV’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products or for any other liability it would be unlawful to exclude or restrict. CLV’s liability for any claim for loss or damage shall be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court no other provisions shall be affected. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights to any third party without CLV’s permission in writing. CLV may assign or transfer any of our rights of subtract any of our obligations under these terms and conditions to a third party.

CLV reserved the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will subject to the terms and conditions that are in force at the time that you order goods from the Village Shop. These terms and conditions supersede all previous terms and conditions, representations, undertakings and agreements.
